So very happy for Lydia and Faith and (hopefully) their new families!
I also would ask that you check back to this post to see some of the other beautiful kids listed with AAC (Adoption and Family Services) like:
Jillian

Gabriel

Alexander

Madeline

Drew

and Avery

All beautiful children and all needing beautiful families! Again go, here on my blog or to AAC's websiteto read more about these wonderful kids.
I also would like to remind everyone about a little one who has just stolen my heart! This little one is on the shared list but is being advocated for by WACAP and Madison Adoption Agency . Maci (as she is called on Madison's list) has no hands or feet. I did not know her story until I saw her file!! Oh my, what this little one has been through in her short life and yet she still has the most gorgeous smile that lights up her sweet little face. This is just a bit of what is written about Maci:
This young monkey was very clever, surprised people from time to time and people feel pity for her and love her more. Now she can understand adults’ words, sometimes when she saw teachers carrying food and coming she would cry to express that she
wanted to eat, if teacher at work said ““Maci”, wait for a moment, the food is hot” she would stop crying at once, when teacher fed her she would smile at her/him. Sometimes when teachers at work have free time they would let her sit on the cushion and play with her, teach her how to call mama and jiejie (sister), she will call mama when she is happy.
Her ID number on WACAP's list is XRF.WZW0608.01. You can go to WACAP's website to request their password or you can go to Madison's Adoption Yahoo Group and join, if you haven't already. It is really easy and you get to see each child's file and they are advocating for so many kids as well as their camp kids!!
While I am talking about Madison, I would like to advocate for some of the precious kids they have listed from the shared list:
There is Hudson, who sounds like such a wonderful young man.
This is what Diana from Madison emailed about Hudson:
The CCAA has asked us to help them place a 13 year old boy currently residing in the Beijing orphanage. Kerry saw him last week and listed him as "Hudson".
This boy is a doll. He is described as friendly, engaging, smart and sweet. He has met several CCAA Directors and has asked them to help him get adopted. (Think back to "Tiffany" and "Hope" from Camp 1!) He has many friends who have already come to the US and longs to come here with a family of his own.
CCAA has told us that they would expedite the case of any family who adopts this child. Beijing orphanage has agreed to TOTALLY WAIVE the $5200 orphanage fee!!!! And MAA has decided to offer an additional $2000 grant, in addition to the automatic $1000 waiting child great. (Total agency fee would be $3500).
Please have a look at Hudson! We really want to help fulfill this boy's (and some lucky family's) dream!!!! Please contact us if you are interested.
There is Alexander who is listed as having hemiplegia of right limbs, which I am assuming is similar to CP. He is 2 years old and just has the sweetest face!! This is what is written about Alexander:
“Alexander” has round face, fair complexion with a pair of bright eyes. He is active sometimes while other time is quiet. He loves playing with other children and is learning how to express his thoughts via simple words. He is able to imitate adults’ motions. If he was told not to do something, he would stop doing it. He could eat snacks by himself and try to grasp things with right hand. He could stand steadily
alone and take steps while holding onto handrails. Since he has motion hindrance of right limbs, he cannot take steps alone. He likes watching cartoons, listening to music. He is carefully having meals and snacks and does not waste food. He is a child who is limited on right limbs but with similar intellectual development as normal children.
There is beautiful Arizona, who has a very scary sounding diagnosis. I have however, personally witnessed a precious one from China who was diagnosed with cancer and once she got home (yes, a wonderful family adopted her knowing her diagnosis) the doctors here found that she did not have cancer at all!!! I am not saying that this will be the case with little Arizona, but God can do beautiful things. Please go take a look at this little beauty. She will tug at your heart!!! This is what is written about 4 year old Arizona:
She is a lovely and quiet little girl yet she has MDS-RAS which needs to be transfused and checks the marrow. Initially she was a kind of timid on admission and she often played on her own alone. Under the excellent care of our caregivers, she is more active than before and is brave in that she often sits on the caregivers and has the book read. She could read books and turn over the pages on her own. She likes cookies, fruits and candies and is not a picky eater with good
food intake amount. She likes to be guided playing outdoors to enjoy the sunshine, play the swing set and sit on the rocking chair. She always plays happily with a lot of laugh. Therefore she is reluctant to leave every time. Sometimes she would guide other children to play in the hall. She would help the ones who cry to clean their tears. She would imitate the caregivers in that she comforts the children while clapping his or her shoulders. She would also help the caregivers to clean the toys that scatter on the floor and put them into the cabinet one by one. She is a lovely child and we wish her to have a happy and wonderful family soon.
There is precious Ashton,

I have advocated for Ashton before. You can go to this post to read about this wonderful young boy who just turned 3 years old - TODAY!!! Please help him to have a family for his next birthday!
There is precious 3 year old Brooke who has Down Syndrome. Brooke is absolutely adorable. You just have to go see this little one. She is 3 years old and this is what is written about her:
“Brooke” is a healthy child with normal limbs and intellectual development. She is very lovely, has fair and white skin. She likes playing toys, just put down this toy and then pick up another one, always have the toy at hand, she will greet with “wa wa” the familiar persons afar, she is active and sometimes she will amuse her roommates, like to stay with companions, if you don’t talk to her, she would try to attract your attention. When someone visits her, she will feel reluctant to let him go, and can do the gesture of “bye” to him. But she can’t speak, but she can imitate to pronounce.
Little Brooke was also found with a note among other things. She was obviously well loved and is thought about with longing, I am certain!! Breaks your heart!
There is Caroline whom I have advocated for before and is, I believe on WACAP's list as well. She is just gorgeous and is listed as having mild CP. This is what is written about sweet Caroline:
She is now 3 years old. She is a compliant and introverted girl with strong body. She is taller for her age. She is close to caretakers. She gets along well with other kids. She can point to other kids and tell their names. She is polite and likes to be clean. She eats well on her own. She knows she should wash hands and wipe face after the meal. She sits on the potty for urination and defecation. She naps well. She has good understanding ability. She often helps to carry things. She likes to listen to music and watch children’s cartoon. She likes to play with animal
toys. She is interested in the game ‘telling stories based on the picture’. She often touches the pictures on the wall, asking people to read with her. She is very good at 2 word phrases and can speech clearly. She can tell the names of the body parts. She can count 1-5. She can take on and off the unlined cloth. She can take off shoes on her own. She can walk up and down stairs on her own. She takes part in indoor and outdoor activities. She likes to play with other kids and never bullies other kids. But when she fights for toys, she is very strong. She sometimes tells caretakers with her body languages that she is wronged. She is compliant and seldom throws tantrum. When the caretakers play with her, they can see happiness and confidence in her eyes.
There is Dell who is listed as having an absence of his left forearm and hand - oh and he is too cute!!! Dell is 10 years old and this is what is written about this adorable young boy:
He is not choosy to food, likes to eat any food, likes playing football outside and playing toys. “Dell” is introverted, does not like communicate with others, is independent, very serious when doing things. Once he was mopping the floor, but it was mealtime, he did not have the meal until the finished the task. He is very obedient, foster mother told him that he should finish the homework before going out to play. He will do his homework attentively till it is finished. He has filial piety, will not have meals until foster mother comes to eat together with him. He is now in Grade 1 in primary school and has excellent academic results.
Lastly with Madison, there is beautiful Lana who is listed as having "partial deficiency of growth hormone (GHD)" and is 11 years old. She is just gorgeous and is also (I think) listed with Lifeline as Maria. She sounds like she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. This is just a bit of what is written about Lana:
With time goes by “Lana” is 11 years old now, has bright eyes and graceful eyebrows,
slender, slim and graceful, and she is a beautiful girl. As getting older she becomes more sensible, and with a little shy specially for girls and less naughty than before. “Lana” has her own thoughts and characters in doing anything; if she thinks that adults criticize her wrongly she will defend herself with effort. She knows her own mind, whenever foster mother takes her to buy schoolbag, stationery or shoes and clothes she will choose them on her own. This year “Lana” is in grade five, now she behaves well on all aspects and her academic record keeps going ahead. In the past years “Lana” has won many awards in school: the second prize for calligraphy competition by pencil in 2006 and the third prize for calligraphy
competition by pen in 2007; the second prize and the winning prize in the reading activity organized by school in 2007 and 2008; “excellent young pioneer” and “excellent school record” in 2009; all these prizes are the best evaluation for “Lana”. Now “Lana” gets along well with teachers and classmates and has good
relationship with them, she loves her school, teachers and classmates. In school teachers praised ““Lana” is a good student!”; at home foster parents said proudly ““Lana” is our good daughter!” Every day after school she finishes homework conscientiously without others’ supervision, and then takes an initiative to help foster mother do housework. She is sensible and cares about others, often ask people whether they feel hot or feel cold; she loves foster parents and all people who love her. A little active, naughty, clever and confident, this is the beautiful and lovely “Lana”.
I wanted to also include a link to an article about what happens to these wonderful KIDS when they age out at 14 years old. You can go here to read this very frank article on life in China when you never find a family.
I also have to remind all about the 2 precious little ones who are being taken care of by the wonderful people at the Harmony House. We sponsored a child through them and I can personally attest to the level of care and love these kids receive. They rejoice every time one of them finds a family. They have asked me to advocate for Josiah:

and Blossom:

Please go here on my blog to read more about these 2 sweetie's. Josiah is just adorable and Blossom really needs the love of a family.
and let's not forget about precious Samuel!!!!

Please go to this post to find out more about sweet Samuel.
Again, as always, please do a search on my blog under waiting kids to see all the many others whom I have advocated for and are still waiting!!
It's so great that you advocate for all these kids! :)
ReplyDeleteLizzie has been in our prayers! She's so brave. :)
THANK YOU for keeping Samuel on your blog! I got an eamil from a prospective family just today!!!! I know some thought he was locked by another agency but I checked with that agency today and he is NOT locked and they did not lock his file, nor is he locked, but they do have a LOT of new and wonderful info!!! I will keep spreading the word - thanks for all you do!
ReplyDeleteAnnie!!! I just want them all. I am "hip deep" in one already. I can just barely get through the "Wonderful" post. If someone is out there turning away...I just want to say...
ReplyDeleteFear not.
