Sorry to hear of the loss of your pets. P...Annie,

Sorry to hear of the loss of your pets. Pets are part of our family too. It is hard when they leave us. We currently have a 2 dogs/3 cats (not counting those that stay here that aren't ours). I found 2 wonderful children's books at our library titled "Cat Heaven" and "Dog Heaven." They were excellent in explaining the death of a pet to a child (and adults). It may not fit into religious beliefs, but I think the books were great.Beach Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16560715678217218938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6884663499900075600.post-17152292879068420372009-10-14T22:19:52.390-04:002009-10-14T22:19:52.390-04:00We lost our first cat 2 years ago on Christmas mor...We lost our first cat 2 years ago on Christmas morning. He went to Rainbow Bridge.

This was followed 10 weeks later by the adoption of our daughter.

Now we are on the verge of losing that cat's partner and girl friend. We are waiting on our son at the moment thus we hope that with the sadness of losing our dear pet that this will be replaced shortly by the delight in the adoption of our son.Timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01787169521331734822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6884663499900075600.post-30720138787451899352009-10-14T18:23:02.509-04:002009-10-14T18:23:02.509-04:00Do pets go to heaven?

I think they bring us so much joy here on earth, they have to be in Heaven too. It is so hard to lose a fur baby. I agree with you, I think there must be dogs and cats and all animals in heaven (well, maybe not snakes, for the obvious reason and not rats cause they are just nasty).Carmihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17555264314851015323noreply@blogger.com
