Goodbye My Old Friend

Yep, the old Eureka finally bit the dust, took it's final bow, had it's last curtain call, kicked the bucket, cashed
in it's chips, choked on it's last piece of dog hair!!

There was nothing we could do!  We tried everything to save it but in the end, we had to take it out back and shoot it!  LOL!

We were best buds, that vacuum cleaner and me! I am not OCD about my house or anything. I - just - really - like - vacuum cleaners??? OK, OK, even OCD sounds better than that! Hehe!  I admit it I am a freak about my house!  I know the good Lord gave me this suped up cleaning gene for a reason - probably because my dear sweet Hubby and those kids of his are missing it entirely!!!!  Heh!

It was a good old vacuum and served us well up until the bitter end!  I mean just how much dog hair, pencil erasers, paper clips, hair bows, Lego pieces and play dough can one vacuum tolerate before it pops it's last fan belt.

I am not sure, but I think I heard the sound of Taps playing in the background as it was taken away!  I know I saluted it and wiped a tear from my eye, until...

Helllooo my new little friend!!!!

I hope I am not rushing into anything too soon but, oh yeah, this lovely little piece of cleaning perfection has now earned the honor of being my new BFF, and with 5 kids, 4 dogs and one crazy cat, forget diamonds, vacuum cleaners are a girl's best friend!!

I know, sad isn't it???  Hehe!

  1. I have to say I was worried with the title that it was a furry baby that died. So glad it was the vacuum.

  5. LOL! I know what you mean. Our washing machine gave out a few weeks ago. You do almost feel sorry for all that you put them through. :)
