Sunday Snapshot - Boo'd

Ever been Boo'd??  Well, yesterday we were Boo'd.

In our neighborhood, getting Boo'd means that one day right around Halloween time, a little bag of goodies mysteriously appears at your door.

Thank goodness there were no Peanut M&M's, although Almond Joys are almost as tempting!!!

In the spirit of the candy eating giving season, you then have to Boo 2 other families in the neighborhood.  Fun, right??

Well, this year as the kids set off on their super secret Boo'ing mission, they happen to stumble across this...

Yeah, doesn't really look much like a Hershey Bar does it???

The kids are convinced that they found the ultimate treat!

She is friendly

Very friendly

She doesn't mind the dogs

or the kids - all 5 of them!!

We will try to find her owner, PLEASE!!!

But we've named her, uh oh!

Ya know what that means...

The final test....

getting Memow to give her the thumbs up!

Memow is another one that just showed up one day and liked the dogs and liked the kids....

and stayed!

Sigh!

Can you guess what we named this new little treat???

Why "Boo" of course!!!  Hehe!

  1. Getting booed sounds like fun! Ok, I have to say that I am not a huge cat lover (I do love my big dog!), but that kitty is A-DOR-A-BLE!! I mean cute! And I can see why the kids love little Boo. I'm kind of secretly hoping the real owner doesn't show up at your house. :)

  2. Okay, here wis a fact about me that May be disturbing. I'm like the old grumpy woman and don't like to be boo'd. Lame, right! Luckily for me, the booing hasn't been going on the last couple of years. I know, I'm terrible. Cute kitty though

  5. Can't say that we've ever been Boo'd, but that sounds really fun!! And yeah...the Almond Joy would be gone at my house! :) Talk about the best little Halloween treat in that sweet kitten. I think I'm also secretly wishing that Boo doesn't have other owners. She's so sweet!

  8. Aw, Boo looks JUST LIKE a kitty I used to have years ago! His name was Marshall. Hope the kids aren't too disappointed if you find Boo's family... she looks to be well taken care of.
