and that Em and I walked away
without a scratch
Grateful that the car we hit had a dent - a dent y'all - on the back bumper!!
My next car - a Dodge Astro Van - hehe!
Grateful for my sweet hubby who was not mad that I just totaled the one car that was paid off, on the second day of his brand new job and was actually in tears when he went to clean out the van and realized how bad it could have been.
Grateful that our crazy boys thought it was cool that we were going to get a new car - until they realized that we may not be able to afford a car with a DVD player! LOL!
Grateful that my sweet girls now remind me to keep my eyes on the road, over and over and over and over!!
Grateful that God was in that car with us that day and that no one was hurt and that we may now be able to get a bigger car, maybe with one more seat???? Hehe!!!
So, now the search begins - for a bigger - cheaper car - with better sensors!!! Heh! Any suggestions??

Oh my lands, now THAT is some damage. So glad to hear that y'all walked away from it. Grateful alongside you.
ReplyDeleteYikes! So scary! Glad everyone was ok!
ReplyDeleteI did this several years ago! It is SCARY! Our car was completely totalled when I lost control after grazing the back end of a car that ran a stop sign...the air bag deployed, I got punched in the nose and we hit an electric pole. That was the end of that Dodge Caravan! It does give you a whole new perspective on things though...
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that your husband has a new job!
Keep your eyes on the road!
;o)
THANK YOU FATHER!!!!Please keep the Godly Angels all around Annie and her family :)

The thing we love about it the most is that my BIG (we're talking 6 foot tall) boys can sit in the back and their legs come nowhere close the seat in front of them. It is just plain LARGE in there! Ours seats 7 which which fits our family and would fit yours...unless...(like us) you are thinking of heading down that adoption highway again?? (shhh)
