Two Years Ago Today...

I held my sweet baby girl for the very first time!!

She was scared and timid and tiny...

but she never cried...

I did, but Lizzie didn't! It really felt as if Lizzie was thinking, "Where have you been?" "I have been waiting for you." "What took you so long." A question she now asks me every time we talk about her life in China!

It has been two incredible, awesome, challenging, hard, wonderful, inspiring, life changing years and I would not change a thing.

Then

and now!

Lizzie is the tiniest little bundle of determination and courageousness and pure love! She finds joy in just about everything and loves with her whole heart and will tell you just how much she loves you and her "whole fambily" ALL the time.

The first time she told me...

and the latest - on video!!

She has shown me what truly beautiful souls my other children have been blessed with and she has touched their lives as my brother touched mine. I can definitely say that when my children are grown and start their families, there will be a few less orphans in this world!

We love you sweet Lizzie May! We did not celebrate today and I will tell you why tomorrow!! hehe!!

For now, I would like to re post the video I did for Lizzie's one year home anniversary!
